Our Retreat Center is a beautiful place to be right now! This week we have had a few guests staying with us at our lovely Retreat Center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. They have enjoyed our fire pits, the luscious greenery, and just spending time together as a family. We have vacancies available, to reserve a cabin please go to https://activeheroes.org/military-family-retreat/
To provide our community with a little more to do at our Retreat Center, we are currently working on our Event Pavilion. It is beautiful inside and will be a great place for events such as weddings, birthdays, and special events for our heroes. Currently we are in the process of adding furniture and finishing up construction, but as you can see from our pictures, it will be a great place to spend time with a group.
So, if you are planning to take some family time this summer, or are just looking to get away from the hustle of the city life, take a peek at our retreat center in Shepherdsville. Remember, it is always free for veterans. If you would like to donate to help our Retreat Center grow, please go to https://activeheroes.org/monthly-donor-club-retreat/ Every donation helps us to provide a safe, clean, fun, and relaxing environment for our heroes.
If you feel tired as a dog, come rest your paws, and lay in our cool green glass in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. ( Dogs are definitely welcome too!).

Hello, this looks like an amazing project. My husband & I are both Veterans. When we are in the area, would we be allowed to park our 5th wheel RV on the property & volunteer to assist with projects?
