John Damato and Trouble Junction
John D’Amato is a Recording artist and songwriter originally from Long Island New York. John has been entertaining audiences for 25 years and has been a Louisville, KY resident for 13 years. He has been a US Paratrooper and an aircraft technician, a bartender, a General Contractor, a deckhand on fishing vessels from Alaska to the Gulf of Mexico and now finally a musician. In Febuary 2012 he came out with the aptly titled album “Reluctant Troubadour”. His second album was released in the summer of 2014 and a third is due for release this summer of 2019.
John D’Amato’s songwriting is reminiscent of songwriters from the 1970’s with a heavy blues/rock influence. He has been on WFPK roots and boots, Kentucky Homefront, Crescent Hill Radio, and at one time or another has graced many stages in Louisville.
