Carry The Fallen

Carry The Fallen is a ruck-March (Hiking) EVENT coordinated by Volunteer Team Leaders. Teams ruck-march for 3, 6, 12 or 22 hours while carrying weight that symbolizes the burden that many veterans carry post-trauma.
The ultimate purpose of Carry The Fallen is to reduce veteran suicide and assist Military Families.

The WOD to End Veteran Suicide is an event hosted by participating gyms, boxes, fitness trainers and volunteers. The event consist of 22 reps of 22 exercises to raise awareness about veteran suicide while fundraising for Active Heroes to provide programs for military families.

Active Heroes challenges you to 22 pushups a day to raise awareness and funds for programs assisting military families. Challenge yourself and then challenge three friends to complete 22 pushups a day while videoing yourself. Make sure to use #ActiveHeroes. 22 Veterans a day commit suicide. Motorcycle Run

Big run and rally for ACTIVE HEROES! There is a one day run on 9/11 and a two day run starting on the 10th. Both groups will return to the Fern Valley Road UAW hall on the afternoon of the 11th for the big rally! Lots to do there, including musical guests Caribou, Lyndsey Henken, and Olivia Henken! Bike show, Dyno, venders, and much more. GONNA BE A HUGE EVENT!

Aiming For Zero

Aiming for Zero provides the national competitive shooting community a channel through which to focus their efforts to raise awareness of and fundraise to end Veteran Suicide. Individuals, groups or clubs can register to host side stages, full matches or use any other creative method at their local ranges to raise funds for Active Heroes, a 501(c)(3) charity.

The Pound Challenge is an annual telethon where participants try to lift more than 22 million pounds in a single day to raise awareness about veteran suicide. The event also raises needed funds for programs offered by Active heroes that help military families. Anyone can participate and lift weight to help.

Now volunteers can host a Stand At Attention Competition or stand as an individual in their hometown to support Active Heroes. Standees and Competition coordinators can purchase or earn essential gear for their events. Each year totals from the Navy, Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Military Family members and civilian supporters are tallied to declare overall winners.
